AREAS OF EXPERTISE RELEVANT TO THE UKSIF BOARD - Philanthropic fundraising, non-profit, strategy, sustainable finance, non-profit, strategy,

With a strong track record in fundraising and strategic development, I bring experience that aligns closely with UKSIF’s current needs. As Head of Fundraising and Communications at Jamie’s Farm, I am responsible for delivering a funding target of just under £5m this year, underpinned by deep expertise in both philanthropic and institutional fundraising.

Previously, as Global Director of Capital Markets at CDP, I played a central role in expanding the signatory base of global financial institutions from 400 to over 710, while contributing to strategic direction as part of the executive leadership team. This reflects my ability to grow a membership-based organisation and operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.

With a decade in European equities sales at global banks—including HSBC, Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, and Macquarie—I bring deep insight into the risk frameworks, commercial realities, and cultural dynamics shaping financial institutions. I’ve also built strong relationships with asset managers, both through my client base as a top-three broker and through CDP’s capital markets work—giving me a clear view of how sustainability integrates into investment processes. I understand the constraints under which banks and asset managers operate, and the importance of a stable, supportive policy and regulatory environment in enabling long-term sustainable finance.

I have long admired UKSIF’s strategic influence within the UK’s sustainable finance ecosystem. As the organisation grows in profile and ambition, it would be a privilege to contribute to its continued evolution and increasing impact as a member of the board.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE RELEVANT TO THE UKSIF BOARD - Sustainable Investment, Impact Investing, Stewardship, Policy and Regulation, Strategy, Membership Organisations

I am Head of Responsible Investment at EdenTree Investment Management, one of the UK’s few asset managers that focus solely on sustainable and impact investment.

I bring nearly a decade of experience in sustainability, with a strong track record of shaping sustainable investment strategies, regulatory engagement (including with the FCA and FRC), and cross-sector collaboration to drive change.

I am passionate about the role of finance to help shape a better world and ensuring the UK remains a leader in sustainable finance – particularly as Europe and the US step back. My role has given me a deep understanding of the complex issues facing the sustainable finance industry, and the essential role of collaboration and organisations like UKSIF in furthering the growth and development of the industry.

That’s why I would love to join the UKSIF Board. I am keen to help drive sustainable finance priorities through industry collaboration, and bring my experience to the table: shaping sustainable investing strategies, a strong external network across asset managers, policymakers, and NGOs, and a deep understanding of sustainability issues. I would be delighted to contribute to UKSIF’s mission and strategic direction at this pivotal time.

As Head of Climate Change and Nature at Phoenix Group and Chair of the UKSIF Policy Committee, and with a 25-year career spanning organisations including McKinsey and the Carbon Trust, I want to use my skills and experience to help steer the next phase of UKSIF’s journey.

UKSIF plays a crucial role in the UK’s sustainable finance landscape. Through my involvement in the Policy Committee, I regularly see how impactful its work is, from directly influencing policy and regulation, to helping members develop their thinking and push their ambition. And in the context of today’s geopolitical headwinds and fractured consensus on net zero, UKSIF’s role is more important now than ever.

If elected, I will bring the following to the UKSIF Board:

  • Deep sustainable finance expertise from leading Phoenix Group’s climate and nature strategy, transition plan, thought leadership and advocacy

AREAS OF EXPERTISE RELEVANT TO THE UKSIF BOARD - Transition strategy and sustainable finance specialist

I am honoured to seek election to the UKSIF Board, bringing over 30 years of global experience spanning investment banking, sustainability integration, and ESG advisory. As Founder and CEO of RO-SE Global, one of UKSIF’s newest boutique consultancy members, I represent the growing specialized advisory sector that bridges critical policy-to-practice gaps.

My implementation experience spans the entire sustainable finance ecosystem. I successfully created Standard Chartered’s global ESG advisory division across Asia, Middle East, and Africa. At Invesco, I spearheaded ESG integration into products and authored the inaugural TCFD report. At CDP, I led global investor member relationships, connecting data providers with asset managers. This cross-sector experience positions me to understand diverse member perspectives across banking, asset management, asset owners and consultancy/data services.

I bring deep global markets expertise with extensive networks among financial institutions and industry groups across Asia, Middle East, and Africa. My participation in UK and overseas regulatory consultations, combined with knowledge of regional policies and frameworks—from EU SFDR to the Common Ground Taxonomy Singapore/China to other growing market’s policy requirements—enables me to bring more best practices to the UKSIF and at the same time represent UKSIF’s international reach and influence.

RO-SE Global exemplifies UKSIF’s ecosystem approach, connecting boutique sustainability service providers with larger institutional members to extend reach into underserved markets and SME sectors. This model supports the vital work of established members while ensuring sustainable finance implementation across diverse geographies.

My advocacy work spans key climate initiatives including GFANZ, IIGCC, and the World Economic Forum’s Coalition for Climate Resilient Infrastructure, besides a good influential work with my thematic publications. Additionally, I maintain strong relationships with Francesco Bicciato and Maria Lettini, CEOs of Italian SIF and US SIF respectively, facilitating international collaboration. This candidacy represents my commitment to giving back to the sustainable finance community that has supported my career, ensuring UKSIF’s continued leadership in translating policy into practice globally.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE RELEVANT TO THE UKSIF BOARD - UKSIF, ESG & Impact Investing, Energy Transition

Why me?

1. Deep understanding of UKSIF:

I’ve been an active UKSIF member for many years, engaging in events, consultations, and roundtables. I’ve served on committees for the past 7 years— first on the Analyst (now Industry Development) Committee as a member, later as Chair, and currently on the Membership Committee supporting the rollout of the Ambassador Programme. This experience has given me a strong understanding of UKSIF’s strategic goals and member priorities.

 2. Experience across ESG and investment:

I’ve built my career at the intersection of ESG and investment. I started my career on the sell-side as a thematic analyst specialising in battery technology, before moving to Railpen – one of the UK’s largest asset owners – where I gained experience in ESG, impact investing, and stewardship. Now I serve as a Senior Investment Analyst at Guinness Global Investors, where I help to run our Article 9 Sustainable Energy strategy – a role that brings together everything I’ve learned across sustainability, impact and financial analysis.

 3. A differentiated perspective on the energy transition:

While I focus on clean energy, I understand the broader transition—what’s needed, what’s slowing us down, and how UKSIF can continue to lead thoughtful, practical conversations. Some of our thoughts were captured in UKSIF’s Financing the Future consultation, and I would bring those same insights to the board.

I’m passionate about UKSIF and want to continue championing its mission.

I am seeking election to deepen my advocacy as a member of the UKSIF Board.

Your vote matters, please use one of them to vote for me.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE RELEVANT TO THE UKSIF BOARD - Sustainable investment and finance (experience attained through roles in consulting, asset management, asset ownership, insurance and banking), pension investments, private markets, stewardship, policy advocacy, strategic leadership, established media spokesperson.

I am delighted and honoured to have the opportunity to run for my second term on the UKSIF Board and hope to secure your support.

As Global Head of Sustainable Investment at IFM Investors, I bring three distinct perspectives to my role on the Board – my extensive background in pensions and sustainable investment, the global perspective from my Australia-headquartered organisation and tangible real economy impact that comes with private markets investments.

We’re at a pivotal point in these extremely turbulent times for sustainability, and it is more important than ever to have strong and committed voices representing the financial services community publicly and at the highest levels of power to help shape the course of action on key things that matter – our nature and environment, our society and the economy.

I have been supporting UKSIF’s efforts to secure the UK’s position as a leading centre for sustainable finance globally, and their mission to build a sustainable and responsible financial system over the last several years – in my roles on the Policy Committee and the Board. I have enormously enjoyed my first term on the UKSIF Board, doing my best to make a contribution to the organisation’s valiant efforts, and it would be a great privilege to be re-elected to continue to support this organisation going from strength to strength, and the amazing team behind the scenes.

Thank you for giving my nomination your consideration.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE RELEVANT TO THE UKSIF BOARD - Newton Investment Management worked closely with the broader bank (BNY Mellon and its CSO office) on sustainability issues and I became very familiar with that area of work. A portion of Newtons sustainable investment funds where are considered impact funds and we worked closely with the UK Impact Investing Institute (which I led) for a number of years. Experience in strategy, business growth and risk management through the role with the Newton

I am pleased to apply to become a board member of UKSIF, an organization whose work and values are closely aligned to my own. As a sustainable investment focused executive at a number of large asset managers I have long been involved in related work and promoted UKSIF, including convincing the leadership at Newton Investment Management to join as a member.

I am currently building a small portfolio of roles that are aligned to my values and areas of interest, and I believe that I could add significant value because of my practical experience in fields of responsible investment. I have a track record of building and leading Responsible Investment teams, focusing on developing strategies and frameworks, and ensuring alignment with the broader business strategies. As an executive committee member at Newton Investment Management I was in a key leadership role, jointly responsible for developing and implementing our strategy and working with board and its risk and compliance committee in their oversight of ESG issues.

The next decade is a critical period for the UK and the asset management industry, one in which how we manage sustainability risks will impact the future of society, the global economy and environment. UKSIF has a key role to play and I believe I can support and help UKSIF with its strategy and mission to continue to engage with policy makers and its members to ensure the UK benefits from leading in sustainable investments.
