UKSIF Ambassador Programme

Key Objectives

• Actively contribute to growing UKSIF’s membership base in alignment with our mission, policy positions, research, and knowledge sharing efforts.

• To act as relationship stewards to retain the breadth and depth of UKSIF’s membership.

• Act as Ambassadorial hosts at UKSIF events, sharing insights and benefits of membership and facilitating connections with relevant stakeholders.

• Represent UKSIF within the wider financial services industry, promoting our objectives and activities to relevant stakeholders.

• Provide valuable input into the development and execution of UKSIF’s membership retention and growth strategies.

Role of Ambassadors

Ambassadors will play a crucial role in growing and retaining UKSIF’s membership by:

• Advising on potential members and facilitating introductions to prospective members.

• Promoting UKSIF’s objectives, activities, and membership within industry networks.

• Providing support at UKSIF events as hosts and ambassadors.

• Providing feedback and ideas for member engagement.

Composition and Time Commitment

Ambassadors must be employees of UKSIF member firms. Ambassadors are expected to attend at least one UKSIF conference per year and engage in ad-hoc consultations between events as needed. Ambassadors serve a two-year term and remain affiliated with a member firm throughout their tenure.

How to apply

Ambassadors will need to be a UKSIF member and have a proposer from a UKSIF Committee or Board member. A brief bio (under 250 words) will be required in order to state your interest in joining the programme, organisation, and area of expertise.  If interested please complete the application form at the top of this page.
