Oscar Warwick Thompson

Oscar Warwick Thompson is Head of Policy and Regulatory Affairs at UKSIF, leading the organisation’s work on public policy and regulation in the UK. On behalf of UKSIF and our members, Oscar looks to encourage a more positive, enabling environment for the growth of sustainable finance in the UK and regularly advises members on upcoming regulations.

He has responsibility for UKSIF’s engagement with financial regulators and civil servants, and has been a deputy representative to a number of advisory taskforces to government, providing perspectives on the delivery of various sustainable finance initiatives. This includes: Treasury’s Green Technical Advisory Group (GTAG), the FCA’s Disclosures and Labels Advisory Group (DLAG), and the Vote Reporting Group (VRG).

Oscar has a background in the investment industry and financial services, having worked in the government affairs team at the Investment Association (IA) and at an independent public affairs consultancy.
