UKSIF response: Financial Services Growth and Competitiveness Strategy

We are pleased to respond to the Financial Services Growth and Competitiveness Strategy call for evidence and are very encouraged that the Government has identified sustainable finance as a potential high growth sector which can drive growth in other sectors of the UK economy too. To ensure we can make the most of the opportunities offered by sustainable finance, the Government should press on with implementing existing commitments on sustainable finance regulation, set out a clear policy vision for what the UK’s future economy will look like and an overall pathway on how to get there, and act to remove practical barriers to investment such as the planning system.
