About UKSIF
The UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF) is the membership organisation for those in financial services committed to promoting a more sustainable and resilient financial system that works for the benefit of society, the environment, and us all.

UKSIF represents a diverse range of financial services firms committed to these aims, and our 300+ members, managing over £19trn in assets under management (AUM), include investment managers, pension funds, banks, financial advisers, research providers, NGOs, among others. Our members are a significant part of the UK’s financial ecosystem and have a critical part to play in the change needed to progress the rapid decarbonisation of the economy and to address some of the pressing social issues facing society.

UKSIF and our members are hugely supportive of efforts to promote the sustainable finance agenda and work closely with policymakers and others to find new ways to overcome the barriers to the growth of sustainability in the UK.

Membership Executive Role
You will support the delivery of UKSIF’s membership offering, ensuring all members have a great membership experience, building on our retention, engagement, and growth efforts, as part of our Membership team. Working closely with UKSIF members and likeminded organisations in sustainable finance, you will support the drive to a more sustainable finance system and to achieving the UK’s sustainability goals, ensuring that our members are heard and engaged to help enact UKSIF’s vision for a more sustainable future.

The Membership Executive will support the delivery of UKSIF’s membership retention and engagement strategy, ensuring members are deeply and meaningfully engaged in UKSIF’s work. Our strategy includes regular meetings, conference attendance, strategic membership growth, committee meetings, briefings with supporters, and reporting.

This position requires a highly organised, motivated and productive self-starter, with a passion for UKSIF’s mission and membership, and a love of networking and engaging new people. The role involves administrative tasks, and is also central to UKSIF’s membership engagement work, involving interactions with members, driving sales and renewals, and ensuring members are fully engaged.

Main responsibilities
• Maintaining regular contact with current and prospective members with the aim to maximise membership retention and growth.
• Providing administrative and relationship management support: arrange virtual and 1-2-1 meetings with UKSIF members, handle ad-hoc requests and small-scale projects.
• Manage the membership email inbox.
• Process membership applications.
• Support with membership reporting, including to the UKSIF Board.
• Answering queries from members and interested parties, escalating enquiries where appropriate.
• Help get new members over the line and support their subsequent onboarding.
• Updating and managing the CRM database (HubSpot) on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the system provides the data and reporting necessary for effective membership management.
• Manage individual member records within the CRM and develop this system to ensure that it meets the current and future needs of UKSIF.
• Monitor invoicing, fee payments, and ensure timely payment of membership subscription fees.
• Support the ongoing maintenance of membership procedure documentation and internal management systems.
• Act as the primary point of contact with our web developer to ensure that our website functions smoothly and efficiently, the membership pages and member login systems work as required, and new functions are applied.
• Support the wider team to ensure the strong performance of UKSIF and delivery of our mission.
• Other duties as may be required.
