Approach
At Johnston Carmichael Wealth we believe that when recommending investments to clients their ESG considerations are just as important as rooted elements such as Attitude to Risk and Capacity for Loss. Because of this, we have adopted an ESG questionnaire as part of our process before recommending investments. This questionnaire is completed by clients to start off the discussions between the client and their Financial Planner about their sustainable investing preferences.
Following the conversation with the planner we will recommend suitable investments. We have recently reviewed our proposition available to clients due to us believing that changes and new opportunities in this space have arisen meaning the existing portfolios were no longer sufficient to meet client sustainable preferences. Therefore, following extensive research we have enhanced our proposition by having more sustainable and impact investments available to clients to meet their sustainable and ethical values.
As this is a fast-changing environment with new investments and opportunities becoming available all the time, our portfolios will continue to be under review to make sure they remain relevant and provide the best outcome to clients.
