We have a comprehensive and client-centric approach to assessing, communicating, and implementing sustainable policies and strategies. We started managing sustainable strategies in 2009, at a time when there was little competition or interest from our peers. Since then, we have continued to shape and improve the way we invest, ahead of a growing awareness within the industry. Today, over 40% of our assets are managed sustainably.
Underlying investments are mapped against the UN SDGs to hold our portfolios against a long-term framework for sustainable progress. We further monitor the voting and engagement policies and records of fund groups to ensure they are sticking to their word, using their ‘seat at the table’ to drive positive change.
