Name: Climate Innovation Virtual Forum 2020
When: Wednesday 1 July 2020
Where: Live Online
Building on the success of the inaugural Climate Innovation Forum – the largest multi stakeholder event during LCAW 2019 – on the 1 July 2020, the Climate Innovation Virtual Forum 2020 is back to connect local, regional and national climate ambition with private sector innovation, technology and finance for a green recovery.
The programme will explore how economic recovery packages can boost our economy in the short term, create clean jobs, and scale low carbon industries that will keep us on track for net-zero emission by 2050. The Virtual platform will deliver more than 3.5 hours of exclusive content from key decision makers directly involved in the recovery agenda and, through AI-based networking, will connect attendees from across the country to forge new relationships, contribute to the recovery debate and share ideas on pathways to build a better future. One of the speakers in the afternoon panel is Simon Howard, Chief Executive UKSIF.
With shorter sessions split between the morning and afternoon, selected delegates can choose the content that’s right for them, watch sessions ‘on-demand’ to fit in with their diaries, meet and connect with peers in specific industries, set up side meetings to share ideas and form new relationships and have access to exclusive networking opportunities powered by AI.
