Description Planet Mark is a sustainability certification organization that empowers businesses, organizations, and real estate projects to achieve net zero, through measuring and reducing their environmental impact. We provide tools and support to improve sustainability performance, focusing on reducing carbon emissions, waste, and overall environmental footprint. Approach We have five key activities which empower finance companies to achieve net zero: 1. Certification: Planet Mark offers certifications for organizations and projects that demonstrate progress in reducing carbon emissions and sustainability efforts. The certification process involves an independent assessment of environmental data, including energy consumption, travel, waste, and procurement. 2. Measurement & Reporting: We help companies calculate their carbon footprint and provide comprehensive reports. This includes Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, giving businesses a detailed view of their environmental impact. 3. Reduction Initiatives: Planet Mark supports organizations in implementing carbon reduction plans, offering strategies to reduce energy use, waste, and emissions while promoting responsible sourcing and sustainable practices. 4. Engagement & Education: Planet Mark actively engages with companies to promote sustainable practices. We offer workshops, events, and resources to encourage staff and stakeholders to take action on sustainability. 5. Impact on Society: We aim to contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by helping businesses align their activities with global sustainability targets.
