UKSIF response to the European Commission proposals to amend MiFID II

UKSIF’s submission to draft proposals to and MiFID II to require financial advisers to ask clients about their sustainability and ESG preferences. This was a key recommendation from the HLEG on Sustainable Finance and the European Commission Action Plan on Sustainable Finance. UKSIF fully supports the idea, although had concerns with the way the legislation had been worded.
