The EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation - where do we stand?

This event is organised by Eurosif
Date/Time: 09/12/2020

In March 2021, the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) will start to apply, impacting all ESG and SRI investment funds distributed in the EU. While the European Supervisory Agencies are set to deliver their final draft technical rules early in 2021, considerable uncertainty is emerging around the application of the regulation to asset managers, existing investment funds and what it means for new product launches.

Join Eurosif on the 9th of December at 3pm CET (2pm GMT) for a webinar on the SFDR and where we stand. We expect the webinar to be no longer than 1.5 hours and questions we'll attempt to answer include: how are asset managers dealing with the principal adverse impact indicators? What is an Article 8 and 9 product? What is meant with a sustainable investment? How will that impact the taxonomy alignment of investment products? What would a delay of the application of technical rules (Level 2) actually imply? The Chair of Eurosif, Will Oulton, will have a conversation with Victor van Hoorn, the Executive Director of Eurosif, on all these questions, seeking to provide answers to these questions. It will be followed by a Q&A session.

Please register here. The event is reserved to members of Sustainable Finance Forums (SIFs) that are members of Eurosif. The registration link will give you the option to submit questions in advance. We look forward to answering them.
