    Trustees will need to report back to savers on key ethical and environmental issues

    Savers will be able to see at a glance if their pension money is held in ethical and socially responsible investments under measures to be unveiled today by the government.

    Trustees overseeing workplace pension schemes on behalf of tens of millions of members are not currently required to publish information on how they take account of issues such as climate change or corporate governance when deciding how pension cash is invested. But new rules to be set out on Tuesday will require trustees to be clearer about how retirement savings are being invested.
