Workshop: Millennial Voices – What does the future culture of the investment industry need to look like?28 February 2019
This event is organised by Authentic Investor
Date: 28 February 2018, 17.30
Location: CCLA, Senator House, 85 Queen Street, London EC4V 4ET
The challenges of sustainability, diversity and the expectations of millennials as clients and employees are prompting reflection on how the culture of investment institutions can evolve to meet the needs of the future. How can organisations enable people to bring their whole selves to work, create cultures that care, and build trust with all their stakeholders? How can they strike a better balance between the head and the heart, between value and values?
You are invited to a participatory workshop that will give people of all ages an opportunity to explore what investment organisations can do (and stop doing) to build internal cultures that meet these challenges. There will no ‘talking head’ presentations. Just an opportunity for open and honest conversation.
Three senior leaders from the industry will be on hand to give their perspectives on the reflections and proposals from participants:
- Elizabeth Corley, Vice-Chair and former CEO of Allianz Global Investors; Chair of the Advisory Group on Growing a Culture of Impact Investing in the UK
- Tim Hodgson, Founder, Thinking Ahead Group, WillisTowersWatson
- Russell Picot, Chair, HSBC UK Pension Scheme.
To allow open and honest discussion, our conversations will be completely confidential. If you do not wish to identify yourself when you speak, you are free not to do so.
When: 5.30 pm for 6.00 pm, 28 February 2019
