We are delighted to invite you to our 25th Anniversary AGM and Annual Lecture on Thursday 17 November with guest speaker Lesley Titcomb, Chief Executive of The Pensions Regulator.

The AGM and Board elections take place at 5.15 pm (registration from 5 pm). Formal notice of the AGM will be sent out later in October with the agenda and details of the candidates standing for election.

The Annual Lecture will follow at 6.15 for a prompt start at 6.30 pm and there will be a drinks reception afterwards.

Lesley Titcomb became Chief Executive of The Pensions Regulator in March 2015.  Previously, she held a number of roles at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) including Chief Operating Officer and Director responsible for the supervision of small firms, such as financial advisers, mortgage brokers and insurance intermediaries.

Lesley read Classics at St Anne’s College, Oxford.  She is Treasurer of her local church and serves on the Diocesan Synod and the Diocesan Board of Finance for the St Albans Diocese within the Church of England.

In July 2016, The Pensions Regulator issued a “How To” guide for DC trustees which explicitly endorsed the Law Commission’s finding that trustees should consider ESG factors when they are financially material.  In that context, Lesley will speak on the topic of “Engaging workplace savers: the opportunities of sustainable investment”, followed by a question and answer session.

We hope that you will be able to join us to celebrate this significant milestone for UKSIF and the sustainable finance community.

If you would like to attend the Annual Lecture and/or the AGM, please register as soon as possible, indicating whether you will be attending both events or just the Annual Lecture.

Please register by emailing Ellie Stewart at events@uksif.org.
